Big banger sports car racing really took off in North America in the mid-1960’s. Often using British built cars like this McLaren- Elva fitted with American built V8 engines. This is the car of George Wintersteen that he raced at Bridgehampton in 1965.

Ready to race 1/32 scale slot car.

The chassis of the car takes on the familiar two piece arrangement with a triangular mount powered by a 21,500 rpm S-Can motor mounted at a 2.5 degree angle and fitted with aluminium air rear wheels. 

PLEASE NOTE:  Thunderslot motor installed in car does not have mounting holes and uses a bracket to hold it in place.
