A staple of Australian Touring car racing and BMWs throughout the 1980s and 90s Tony Longhurst shared this car with motorcycle and motor racing legend Johnny Cecotto for the 1992 Bathurst 1000. In the race the plucky little 2.5 liter normally aspirate4d BMW M3 finished a impressive 4th behind two big power Nissan R32 Skylines and one very quick RS500.
